Friday was the funeral service and graveside service for my mother.

Tuesday we receive a flyer for headstones and engraving from a company in Stoneham, MA. http://www.pilotsofamerica.com/forum/images/smilies/set5/incazzato.gif

We don't yet know where we'll get the headstone, but anyone want to guess which company doesn't have any chance?

The only thing worse would have been a cold call from those turds.

If I were you, I would make sure I let them know why they're not in the running. With a very distraught widow or something, this could be a very painful experience, and they may not have thought about it.

Not to say you should reconsider, but you should let them know that they're not being very smart.

I saw a similar thing with a candidate once (won't say name or party) that had his people hanging signs up for him. They were stapling one of his signs to a graveyard fence, and one of the people was using a headstone to hold the stack of flyers. I let him know why I wouldn't be voting for him. His response was one of shock and surprise, and he didn't even ask for my vote afterward. Really classy, which surprised me.
