TAC charts

Ok I am an idiot... how in the world do I get TAC charts on Foreflight ??

IIRC, the VFR chart automatically switches to the TAC view when you zoom in.

Not sure about FF, but that is how it works on Garmin Pilot.

Zoom in they’re there and the chart view changes as you zoom in

I must have something set wrong or not downloaded. Technology has never been my friend.

To answer a question you didn’t ask, you can see the FLY charts (the ones on the back of the paper TACs) if you go to the FAA Drive in Documents and add the ones you use.

when I view DFW way zoomed out where I can see many other eastern and western counties, it has the detail of a typical sectional.

Then as I zoom in with DFW eventually the appearance and detail switches to the TAC level of detail.


If this isn’t happening for you, can your describe where you’re looking and what your doing to try to make it work?

Not sure about FF, but that is how it works on Garmin Pilot.

For GP - This - but note that if you haven't otherwise selected some "download all" option - you may need to go in and download the various specific regionals/TACs you are interested in.
