The best source for info like this is the Facebook group North Texas Aviators
At Hicks, there are some tie-downs on the grassy area just north of the Beacon Cafe (fyi, you must eat there... some of the best airport diner food in the area. Try the Pineapple Upside Down pancakes!)
Nearby alternatives would include KDTO in Denton, KAFW Alliance, and 52F Northwest Regional.
Let Bryan (@SixPapaCharlie) and I know when you're gonna be in town and we'll try to keep you entertained and mildly amused for an evening.
