Super Soaker may get jail

he's driving down the wrong side of the road!

I'm sorry. But that is.............

.......awesome.

Always be aware of your surroundings. I never, ever stood by a puddle when I had to walk around downtown to campus.

They may prosecute this guy. I would pay just to be in the Courtroom and watch him squirm. Jail would be ok but if the guy gets convicted there really must be a much better and perverse sentence than jail for him.

What would they charge him with? Sure, he's a d!ckhead, but twisting laws to nail a d!ckhead does more harm than good.

You think it's "awesome" to soak little kids who are waiting for the bus??? WTF??

Looked like an accident to me.

Poor kiddees.

Heh, heh, heh to all you nanny staters. :D

Maybe I'm evil. I laughed so hard at that.

BTW, what crime was committed by spraying kids with water? They're standing in the rain, getting wet anyway.

As a kid, I would have thought it was funny. But then again, I'm not one of the sissy kids we have now that cry at anything and get trophies for being last.

Looks like it was in the UK or Austrailia so not sure but if it were here They could wack him with, Harrassment, Disorderly conduct, Recklessly Endangering another person, Perhaps criminal mischief or even simple assault.

A conviction is another story but I can see any of those charges being held for court.

never mind - I can see that the concept of "consideration for others" is just beyond some of y'all.

As a little kid I would have thought it was awesome. Sometimes we would stand near puddles just to TRY and get wet. As an adult I still think it's freaking hilarous. I'm sorry you have a stick up your posterior.

I swear this country is turning into a bunch of whiny losers, being led there by crybabies like....well...I'll stop there or it will get personal, and then someone will boohoo to the mods.

Oh dude you would so not have thought that was funny if it was you. If it were me when I was a kid and I ever saw that car again fuggedaboudit. It would be either

1) Keyed to look like a highway map of southern California
2) Have the gas tank sweetened:rolleyes:
3) Dead fish jammed up under or behind the block or radiator.

I admit I did get a bit of a chuckle in a jackass kind of way but those poor kids were soaked to their skivies and headed off to school that had to suck!

When I was a younger man (19) I was driving a delivery van and got to a huge puddle just as a long haired hippee walked by on the sidewalk.
His face just before the water deluged him was priceless:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:.
He looked pretty funny all scraggley haired, soaked, and flippin me the bird in the mirror.
He needed the bath , I probably deserved the bird.
Lawsuit, jail , tish tosh, the kids were on there way to school to get an education, they got one in situational awareness.
For goodness sake it was only water!!!!!!

Oh, we're so holier than thou. Give me a break. Its freakin rain water.

Cartman ...????

Cartman ? Not sure what you mean, I don't get out much I guess.

I've been splashed when I was a kid, no big deal, you get mad, you laugh, you stay away from puddles, you get over it.
There are two kinds of kids who hang out by puddles--- the quick and the wet.
Those kids got wet, you can bet next time they will be quick, and smarter.
It's how our species got smarter, by learning experiences, not just seeing it on the tv.

I think they should tie him up and let the kids spray him with a garden hose.
Then the kids can have some fun, and the guy can get hosed:rofl::rofl:
Oh No! is that a form of water boarding:D

You want to have some other fun, those of you with young cats take a small piece of scotch tape and put on each paw , some are real good at kitty break dancing.
The other fun ,this Halloween is to drop a scoop of icecream in each trick or treater bag.
What's a world with out a little harmless fun, you learn to give it and take it. Learn to laugh , and lighten up.

I thought that video was funny as hell! Keep em' coming!

He is a cartoon character that hates hippies and talks about how they need baths. He is pretty funny and on the show South Park.

Oh ,I'm probably to old to watch that. I never watched the "Kill Kenny" thing and such.
And no ,I don't hate hippies, or think they need bath's.
I'd laugh and swear and give him the finger if he did it to me.
There is a real problem though with some people who would continue to escalate the retaliation.
Some out there are sooo serious, don't hurt anyones feelings,------
OK, let's all have a group hug now:rolleyes:

Saw this on the news this morning. Vid had better quality on TV. Looked like kids had backsides facing the puddle. May have been done with all parties aware. I could see the kids getting a kick out of this. Not enough info to judge.

Adapting a law that doesn't apply to fit a situation where no actual harm was done.
So I guess we shouldn't prosecute drunk driving as long as there isn't an accident. Looking at it another way, what if the guy had hydroplaned the car into the kids? There was clearly intent to go through that puddle near them at high speed. Just sayin'...

I don't know if it is a crime or not but the guy is first class jerk.

Why would you want that?

What was the speed? Didn't seem high to me.

I don't know if it is a crime or not but the guy is first class jerk.

It's not, thankfully, and I already said words to that effect.

Too funny.

What "law" has he broken? So if a sudden deluge of rain where to come down and soak the kids, who is at fault then? God/Mother Nature?

We seem to have lost our sense of humor in the world.

They already don't apply as written, that's why they have to be twisted.

Have you read the laws?

Our laws aren't written in a "it is hereby illegal to operate a vehicle at 25 miles an hour near a puddle within 7.5' of a group of people, unless doing so is necessary to preserve the safety of either the driver or the general public."

Instead, our laws are written more like this: "it is a Class 2 misdemeanor to do any act that causes unwanted physical contact or that causes a person to fear for his or her safety." We then have case law defining what "physical contact" and "fear" are.

So, I don't mean to be a jerk, but you're simply wrong.

Really? There are laws like that where you live? A person can claim another person caused him to fear for his safety and have that person arrested? In what oppressed land do you reside?

There are laws like that everywhere. It's just that reasonable people don't go around doing dumb stuff like driving through puddles for no purpose other than to get a couple of kids wet; hence, you don't hear about them.

Sorry if you don't like it, but society, through its laws, decided it wasn't going to put up with that kind of behavior.

No free societies anywhere?

So because there are unreasonable people we must have unreasonable laws?

Sorry if you don't like it, but society, through its laws, decided it wasn't going to put up with that kind of behavior.

Right! All power to the collective!

In other words, twisting laws to nail a d!ckhead.

No not at all. Actually what happend can easily be aruged to be all of those I've cited, I'm not saying it was but a valid argument could sure be made given the definition of those laws.

Now thats zackly what I'm talkin bout!

No free societies anywhere?

Right! All power to the collective!

What time machine did you crawl out of? When in recorded history was there a Free Society? Never has existed in the US.
