So, the Super Bowl is Sunday, and I haven't seen a thread, yet. For various reasons, I watched my first whole game in about 2 years 2 weeks ago, and don't plan on watching this game, not even for the commercials.

However, most of the time, if an original NFL team wins, the market goes up, and if the AFL team wins, it goes down. Also, January is a good predictor of the rest of the year. However, last year was an outlier.

The market was up until the Super Bowl, so the prediction was the Patriots would lose, but they won, and the market sank the rest of the year.

I'm making the same prediction for this year's game. The Patriots are beatable; except for a blatant non-call, and a non-foul call, as well as a good penalty call, the Chiefs would have won the AFC game. Of course, the Rams won because of a non-call on a blatant pass interference penalty at the end of the game. And the guy who made the hit got fined later for an illegal hit! Turns out the entire crew for that game was from So. CA. What a coincidence!:eek:
 
I’ll predict that no matter which team wins, most of America loses. Playoff games where a sham, and I don’t care about any one NFL team!

I believe more and more that the NFL is scripted, just like wrestling.
 
My prediction is for good flying weather!

When I get home, I might check to see which team cheated the best.

I predict grown men will play with their oblong wrinkly leather balls....

I also predict that I will not care who wins or even if the game is played or not.

I also predict that 17Feb2019 is a more important date for me.
 
Did my first cross county flight as a newly minted pilot on Superbowl Sunday... picture perfect day.
 
I predict many pilots are paying through the nose for slot times and ****ing money away on a brand that has become hostile to common decency and plain common sense management.

I’m going to a party, but doubt I’ll actually pay attention to the game. Free food, good friends and liquor. I’d rather it be Vegas Supercross honestly.
 
I think the score will be 4 growlers of beer (one of the guys is a brewer), two bottles of bourbon and at least 5 bottles of wine. There will be about ten of us at the viewing party. The game may or may not be on but most of us won't care.
 
This isn't a prediction: I will drink as much as any footie footie football fan on Sunday. I call it Stuper Bowl.

I'll watch some movies. I may or may not like them.

Then, Monday someone will ask me what I think of the footie footie thing, and I'll say, "Oh, they played?"
 
I predict that all the footballs' inflation pressures will meet spec.
 
I think I’ll watch the Cat Bowl on some cable channel I can’t remember.

Let me rephrase that...I won't know what they're advertising, but I've never bought anything they've advertised in the past.

Well, I think that I have probably bought things they’ve advertised however it wasn’t as a result of their super bowl advertising.
 
I predict a whole bunch of new flat screens get returned next week.
