Ok....so I have been in a good mood lately, and since it is spring time I thought maybe we could start a thread on Songs about Sunshine.

I will start:

Pocketful of Sunshine - Natasha Bedingfield

Sunshine on My Shoulders- John Denver

I like this thread topic- been working nights for two weeks now. :(

I don't like Mondays - The Boomtown Rats. Always makes me smile when I think about how happy it would make me feel to take a few of the bastards out ;)

Walkin' on Sunshine - Katrina and the Waves ('80s one hit wonder)

Ain't No Sunshine - Bill Withers (although first time I heard it, it was Sting doing a cover in 1990)

FYI: I sang on stage with them just prior to them making it big.

Ok I was drunk, they were playing at the club and I got up on stage to sing with them, but I did sing with them nonetheless. I worked with Katrina's dad too, he did work on my airplane.

"What's with all the F-ing Sunshine?" Zombie Surfers circa 1988. Recorded them in San Diego, don't know if it ever made it to realease....

Good lord, Scott...were you on another conference call today or something??

naw, jet lag recovery day and there was a rains storm. I did like the Brady Bunch song, brought back a lot of memories.

They let you take a day off to recover from jet lag? Slackers! I'll get back from this trip Friday night and my wife will expect me to be usefull around the house (yard?) on Saturday.

Let me?? No they don't let me, I take it and they can stuff it, besides I worked for about 4 hours form home catching up on emails.

Considering I give up on average two weekends a month just for travel time this is the only way I cna get stuff down at home.

Sounds familiar. My wife is always after me to take comp time, as well. I'm reaching the point where I just might. This blowing weekends for the company is getting old.
