Stylus on ipad: not liking it

I picked up a few fine point stylus' from amazon to use on the ipad. I thought they would be nice for foreflight notes, taxi instructions, etc.

I really don't like the feel/ pressure they require. I guess it's back to my finger.

Anyone else have a stylus that they like?

Always keep one in the airplane,a lot easier to use ,if it gets bumpy.

Understand the iPad is not a pressure sensitive screen but Capacitance. So whatever stylus you get must be capacitive sensitive. This is why it doesn't always work well in cold weather.

Yeah, there aren't any "fine point" iPad styluses that I am familiar with. They all have the soft bulbous tip because that's what works with the capacitive touch screens. You need something like a Samsung Galaxy Note with the built-in Wacom digitizer layer to use a true fine-point stylus. Those are pretty sweet, but obviously would require a switch to Android and that's a whole other discussion.

The "Jot" stylus is one, but it requires a battery.
