Hi All. Don't forget your hanger buddies this Christmas! StrutWipe makes a great inexpensive gift for yourself and your flying friends.

Message: I've been using StrutWipes on my '76 Archer ever since the Gathering at Waupaca last year (2019). Just wanted to let you know I found another application for them – the yokes. I don't know how familiar you are with the Cherokees, but the control yoke passes through the instrument panel and there's a rubber grommet there. That always gets sticky, and must be lubed to keep the stabilator control movement reasonably smooth. Tried using the StrutWipe on it and it seems like it's the perfect solution. Time will tell; I say that because the silicone spray I've been using works OK for a few hours, then must be reapplied. And it's a messy job. Using the StrutWipe was SO much easier and if it lasts at least as long as the spray, then it's my 'go-to' solution for the yoke forever more.
Just wanted to pass this along.
Have a great Christmas!
