STEC 60-2: VS commanding full trim up

Any idea where to start looking for what’s malfunctioning?

I’m guessing it’s an electronics issue with the pitch computer and not a servo? Or maybe the UP switch on the head unit?

Works fine on ALT hold. Not using the altitude pre-select while this is happening.

Will take it to the avionics shop soon.

Sounds like this used to work, but I had this happen on a new avionics installation. The trim servo was wired backwards.
