Steamboat Springs finds a new use for all that snow

I have been into Steamboat quite a bit in the winter, never on an icy runway though. This is a great idea, and could be implimented in the winter even with very little snow. A small one gun snowmaking system down there could crank out enough snow in about a week to make this happen.

It's an awesome idea that should be put into practice in a few other airports too. The airport could even ditch the snowcat and use a sled pulled tiller.
