Ehgem,.... now back from a recent ban for towing the line too close....again.... I am happy to report that when I preheat, it does not bat an eyelash at the previous issue. It fired without a whimper instantly, as usual.

Mid thirties isn’t really that cold. I remember having to pump the primer on my 182 to keep it running, seems like it was maybe 5 below. Engine turned over just fine, no preheat and runnng 15w50 aeroshell.

You can tell me all day long how bad that was on the engine, I won’t argue, but I will tell you that I was several hundred hours past the 2,000 hr tbo and on the original cylinders.
