Dermatologist's office called to say the biopsy of thing on my shoulder came back as squamous cell carcinoma insitu and the want to do an excision. What are the FAA medical ramifications/considerations?

I’ve had a couple of cases of basal cell (which are in the same block) and had no problems with my medical.

None. On your next MedXPress, list the visit as "removal of skin lesion". If it's in situ, they don't need to know any more.

But it it's anything more, send them the "Moh's Note". You're going to have to send them the pathology note and they expect the margins to be CLEAR as do you.
