Speaking of Teslas...

No more Camaros? I think they found a pretty good replacement.

Theres also a YouTube channel showing a guy who gutted his Model S outperforming almost every car at the drag strip and, in some cases, taking home quite a bit if cash.

When I was a kid and doing slot cars, we would put a drop of light machine oil in the electric motor to make them go faster. I wonder if that is being done to the full size electric cars today to make them perform better?

I dunno what else they use. I remember Camaros too. When I was in Korea they used an El Camino I think for the black jet "that wasn't really there just your imagine running wild jet".

Well. As long as you don't have to go much over 100mph they work

I've been told that Ferrari and other supercar makers are now using electric motors as well as petrol in their cars due to the outstanding and nearly instantaneous torque the electrics produce.

My google-fu says top speed is SW limited to 130 MPH. Maybe boosted some for the AF.

Top speed nowadays is limited at 155 MPH.

The U2 takes off at 115mph - a P100D can reach that in just under 9 seconds.

Pretty sure that's good enough for the U2.
