So I've been catching up on the Betty in the Sky with a Suitcase podcast (pretty funny, I have to say) and one of the stories a pilot told was one time when he was an engineer, during the boarding of passengers Leslie Nielson actually stuck his head into the cockpit and said, "Good luck, we're all counting on you." He said that the three pilots just about fell out of their seats laughing.
