Someone Hacked/Virus

Could everyone make sure and please run a virus/malware scan on their computer?
I recently started to received spoofed emails "from" people here on POA that I have never had any contact with via email in the past. (meaning not in my address book)
So I doubt it is my computer and I did run virus and malware scans.
Someone seems to have gotten a virus or some malware that hacked their address book.

why would your email address be in someone else's address book that has never contacted you by email?

My address could be in someones that I do email with and the virus/malware is spoofing from EVERYONE in their book.
I may not have gotten one from the person that actually has the virus.
I am just in the address book

There has been a rash of these viruses lately. The one that got my wife's computer came thru Java. If you have Java uninstall it, or at minimum turn off auto updating.

Yahoo had their email system hacked about a month ago and about 400k contact lists were stolen. People were getting Spam supposedly from me until I changed my Yahoo password.

Maybe that's the source.

Naw, just give them a hearty dose of a few real viruses (like HIV, Hepititis, and Yellow Fever).
