Someone explain "trolling" to me.

Misuse of who and whom irritates me.
"irregardless" makes me uncomfortable as well.

But I say "fixing to" and "Y'all"which annoys a lot of people.
"Y'all" is just efficient and slightly less ambiguous that the plural "you".

Here's what Merriam-Webster has to say about "irregardless":

Usage Discussion of IRREGARDLESS

Irregardless originated in dialectal American speech in the early 20th century. Its fairly widespread use in speech called it to the attention of usage commentators as early as 1927. The most frequently repeated remark about it is that "there is no such word." There is such a word, however. It is still used primarily in speech, although it can be found from time to time in edited prose. Its reputation has not risen over the years, and it is still a long way from general acceptance. Use regardless instead.

And therefore never send to know for whom the bell trolls, it trolls for thee.

Cheers

But in fairness it was a Yawl. A sloop rigged boat has the larger mast in the rear.

The ketch and the yawl both have the main mast forward. A ketch has the mizzen mast forward of the rudder post while a yawl has it aft of the rudder post.

A sloop rigged boat has but one mast. A schooner rigged boat has a Foremast equal or shorter than the Mainmast aft of it, if it has three masts it would also have a Mizzen. One could also add a Jigger and a Spanker should one get long enough.

So is attempting to draw out a certain 9999'er by necro-posting considered a form of trolling?
