Slow Flight Down the Runway = Too Close to Trees

One thing that hasn't been specifically stated (that I saw) is that the published Vx is not valid for flaps 20...as shown in the POH excerpt that @dmspilot posted, it's a zero flap number for the 150. Don't assume it will be anywhere near the published number with other flap settings.

And as others have noted, Even if you were flying the correct speed, there may not be an actual climb associated with flying Vx with more flaps in a 150.

In a Cessna 150, flaps are for training only. There is no reason to use them, except in an emergency to get into a field that you can't depart.

Which is pretty much most fields.
