I got a 90 letter from OKC to be tested for OSA, it took a while to get a consultation scheduled and then the overnight test. I do have mild sleep apnea, accordingly the doctor has prescribed a CPAP. My issue is that I am supposed to return the information on or about August 1, and I have not yet received the CPAP. I understand that I am grounded until I have 30 days of usage, which is fine, the plane is in the paint shop.
I feel like I need to send something in rather than be 30-45 days late. My thought is to send the report and a copy of the prescription for the machine vs sending nothing. And follow up with the 30 day report at my medical in October. Thoughts?
 
You can call 405-954-4821 and ask for a 30 day extension which will be routinely given...ONCE. It's Aug 2, call them monday AM right at 08:00.
