Yes, I should be ashamed of myself....

So I have a multi-leg flight.....

KAEG-E92-M10-KAEG

KAEG-E92 is 43.6nm
E92-M10 is 16.5nm
M10-KAEG is 46.3nm

So all things told, I have a flight that is 106.4nm long. For the purposes of obtaining a rating below ATP, I CANNOT log that flight as Cross-country, right?

I plotted it on a chart, and no, there's no leg long enough to qualify. You can LOG it as X/C, but can't count it in your X/C time for ratings other than ATP.

(A) Conducted in an appropriate aircraft;
(B) That includes a point of landing that was at least a straight-line distance of more than 50 nautical miles from the original point of departure; and
(C) That involves the use of dead reckoning, pilotage, electronic navigation aids, radio aids, or other navigation systems to navigate to the landing point.

Straightline distance. Go somewhere else first (like Vaughn). Now that would definitely count.
