This is the panel of a B-17 that Jerry Green let me go through when I was down in AZ. last Dec, and Jan. I just thought it was neat not with the thread title however.

I just watched a B-17 take off from Nampa KMAN this morning. He was doing his runup on the runway while we did the runup in our Scout.

We have 2 P-40's and a P-51B based on the feild at the Warhawk Museum. They had a P-51D and a P-47 visiting this weekend. To bad I didn't see the P-47 fly.

Probably. That's a lot higher than I have ever taken an airplane...

You must have a turbocharged engine to keep it climbing at those altitudes :wink2:

I fly a 1958 PA-22 Tripacer. The panel is a cross between kind of nice and well used. Here is a picture of most of it.

Yep. The Magenta Line of Death! I stay off of it as much as possible. I learned that here on the POA.

I had a "discovery flight" in this awesome, brand new (to me) 2009 LSA Tecnam Sierra with a glass panel. Due to circumstances beyond my control, I was unable to continue with that instructor and he is the only CFI for that privately owned plane. I miss it to this day but all in all I think things worked out for the best. This plane and CFI were a combined $40 - $50 more per hour.

Yeah, I'm not sure who wrote that on there but I think we're planning on replacing that with a new placard which has the Vle and Vlo speeds printed on it so it will look a little neater.

That can be resolved with a little work done to the rudder stops. The C150 I instruct in has had it done.

Yup, love the Art Deco look. Function and beauty. Since that pic I've mounted a bubble face Taylorcraft/Airpath compass to the top of the glare shield. h
