I got some shoulder harnesses in the Cherokee but there is an area right at about neck level where they burn the ends to keep the material from fraying. Needless to say it scratches the hell out of your neck lol.

Anyone have recommendations on some good shoulder harness pads? Something as soft as a new born kitten preferred

Thanks!

A quick search on Amazon.com found these:

I might order the Crow harness pads since I know they are good quality stuff. See what everyone else recommends

Head over to medical supply shop for seat belt covers. You may also find them much cheaper at an auto suply shop. Or make some yourself with foam from any sewing good store and two tube socks. Cut open one end of,the sock. Make a tube of the foam, push into the sock, thread onto the harness. Now do the other sock & seatbelt the same way. If if slides down the seatbelt, get a large safety pin and in the top end of the sock to the harness.

A more professional version is to take the same foam, 2 pieces of knit cotton about a foot-18 inches long (old tshirt), put the foam on one of the pieces of material, put the other piece on topmof the foam, sew together into an "envelope". Then put velcro on the long sides, again making a tube. Now you can wrap it around the harness.

The simplest way is to search for "seat belt cover" You'll find different materials, colors, etc. Probably be able to pick them up on the way to the airport today.
