Holy smokes! Apparently a Southwest employee has been shot and killed at Will Rogers World Airport in OKC. They've had the airport locked down for at least a couple hours and we just learned that someone has been killed. Suspect is still on the loose as far as we know.

This Sucks!

"Oklahoma City Police identify the employee as Michael Winchester. Kansas City's KCTV-5 reports Winchester is the father of Kansas City Chiefs long snapper, James Winchester."

The shooter was found dead in his truck in the parking garage.
 
From commentary elsehwere that I can't confirm nor refute... just pass along...

Winchester was also a former OU football alumnus (punter) and was on the '85 National Championship team. His son was a deep snapper/ST guy for OU in '10-'11. He had two daughters that were on OU athletic scholarships (basketball and rowing). Quite a lot of athletic talent in that family.
