Sharing the joy of flight

I have a co-worker and friend visiting from our India offices. When he learned I was a pilot, he asked "when will we fly!?" Wednesday evening turned out to be perfect--smooth and clear skies. We flew from 52F (NW Regional) in NW Fort Worth to Stephenville (KSEP) for the ever-famous Hard Eight BBQ. Along the way, he got the opportunity to fly the plane, learning how to hold a course and maintain straight and level visually. He also got to fly some 360's and never lost or gained more than 100 feet.

Samrat had a blast... he told me later it was the most memorable day of his life, an experience he'll never forget. His smile told the story best.

Our company has taken on a China team. When one of the members visited, I took her on a Cape Cod lighthouse tour. 3+ hours of zigging and zagging across the cape. This was a year ago.
She still talks about it.
I love sharing aviation with people. It's especially fun when you know them.
