I was looking for an option to actively send the flight plans.
I see when you select browse on the iphone, they are already sent.
How about this.
I want to share the day's flights with my copilot who has his own ipad and FF account.
How to do?
We are both on the same wifi.
Dave there are a couple of options depending on what you mean by "flight plans."
If by "flight plans" you mean you want to send the actual plan you filed,
[edit for earlier mistake] you first have to display that plan's route on the Maps page, then send the route to your friend.
[end edit]
To share the route, there are two options:
If you're both on the same WiFi, in More > Settings make sure that "Cockpit Sharing" is ON. Then from the Maps page tap the NavLog "Send to" button that Scott had in his screenshot, and you should see the other iPad's name listed there. Tap that and they'll get a pop-up in ForeFlight asking if they want to accept the route.
Or if you're not on the same WiFi, tap the Send-to button at the bottom of the NavLog and choose email instead.
As with the flight plans on File & Brief, routes you enter onto the Maps page are automatically synchronized between devices that are signed-in to your ForeFlight account, assuming you have the Synchronize... switch is ON.
FYI: see the "Cockpit Sharing" section of the ForeFlight Pilot's Guide for more details:
http://www.foreflight.com/ipad/guide/pdf, or in the app in Documents > Catalog > ForeFlight.
