My scheduling was even easier. I ran into DPE at local airport, and here was the conversation
Me: Hi there, Mr DPE. Can I book you for a checkride?
DPE: Sure. Next Saturday works for you?
Me: Yep.
DPE: You have all requirements met? Who's your CFI?
Me: Requirements met, CFI's name is Blah
DPE: Ok, bring your written, XC plan to Airport X, , my weight is XXX and my fee is YYY. See you Saturday at 11am.
That's it.
