Santa Monica getting back into flying after 5 years break

Hi All,

I live in Santa Monica. It's been about 5 years since I've moved from New Jersey and flown. Looking to get back into it. Been really into the idea of training in a cirrus now at least a glass cockpit 172 to start. Any good questions or clear stay away places? Would also be interested in a partnership of some sort. I'd go to Hawthorn, Santa Monica airport , maybe even the valley.. Appreciate the feedback thanks all!

Proteus at KSMO has an SR20 and an SR22 available for training. Santa Monica Flyers does too.
