Does anyone have pictures and/or diagrams of rudder pedals showing how they connect to the cables and are installed and anchored to the pivot points?

Thanks.

There are a number of free maintenance manuals online that show this info to include the procedure.

Edit- Slow Typer

The drawings and info is in the Service Manual and IPC.etc

It is not particularly complex but any replacement or repair may require

assuring the rigging is in spec.

Not Preventative Maintenance.

What does the project entail?

Just trying to understand how it works. I had a lightbulb moment on my last flight and I need to work something out in my head.

Thanks for the link.

Commendable. I taught Aircraft Systems For Pilots in college, encouraging them to understand the airplane. It helps the mechanic immensely if the pilot can accurately describe a snag. "The controls feel funny" really doesn't help much. "I had to push left rudder the whole time" tells us instantly that, most likely, the left rudder bar spring is broken.

I sometimes took an airplane out for a flight. Funny stuff would show up, stuff that should have been snagged. I'd ask the other instructors about it and they'd say, "Oh, it's been doing that for a couple of weeks now." Thanks, for the heads-up, folks.
