Last year I bought a 32-Quart Ultra-Light RTIC cooler and I love it. It works great, looks good, and only costs $149. I also bought a blue 'can cooler' with my logo on it.

When looking for camping tips, someone said to get a water jug. You have ice cold water and you're not opening your cooler all the time, keeping your beer colder! I ordered an RTIC one-gallon jug and it made all the difference at Oshkosh last year. I didn't have to carry a lot of plastic bottles and I drank a lot more water.

Well, Oshkosh is right around the corner, so I decided to get another one, and a can cooler for my girlfriend (she kept taking mine!) and this time I had my logo added to everything. It only took two days for my package to arrive. The quality is amazing.

I figured for $149 it must be made domestically, but it's not (apparently, Cordova coolers are). What's it do that a $20 Igloo doesn't?

I’m using my RTIC coffee mug right now. I will say they changed something with those over the years, not for the better. I have an older model, my wife has a newer one. The lids are not interchangeable, they are slightly different diameters. Hers will definitely not keep coffee hot as long as mine will. If we set them on the counter and leave the house for a few hours, mine will still be hot and hers will be cold. Half day old coffee might not matter, but something is definitely different.

I have some RTIC can holders, too. My favorite story was when two twenty-somethings saw it and pointed out their Yeti versions. “Oh, ours are Yetis. They keep our beers cold for an our.” “Mine’s an RTIC. It cost half as much and keeps my beer cold for 8 minutes.”

But those large jugs would be great. They are pretty tough, not too heavy, and you don’t need to load them with too much ice to keep that water cold all day.

I threw away two Igloo coolers after I got my RTIC. It keeps my ice for two days, sitting out in the heat. I’ve used Igloo for years, but my last two had handles that broke. Not great quality.

Igloo makes it hard to compare. Their closest product comes in 24qt for $150 or 70qt for $300.

A better comparison would be Yeti, but they cost a lot more. 35 quart is $275

I have a big RTIC cup I put ice water in and keep next to my bed. I don't even put the lid on and it keeps ice for two days. It is several years old though, so maybe the older technology!

And yeah, if my beer is cold after an hour, please check my pulse. I'm probably gone!

RTIC is good stuff. And your logo looks great! They also support 2nd Am. rights if you're into that. And of course, like Yeti, is a Texas company.

Just found out Cordova is owned by Scott Campbell jr of Deadliest Catch fame. My big cooler is Orca, made in USA as well.
