Now it's just Peter and Paul. :(

Not unexpected, but sad nonetheless.

I have the Group on my turntable as we speak...
RIP to the next-best Fem voice EVER (IMHO) next to Karen Carpenter...

PS Just listened to "500 miles"...hated that song 'til PPM did it...God what a Beautiful voice, stilled forever...

I need to quit smoking again.

Don't sweat it Nick.

My grandfather started smoking when he was 12 or 14 and never quit - lived to be 80 something and never got cancer. On the other hand, he had his first stroke when he was in his early 60's. By the time he died he his mind was gone. But he was able to keep on smoking.

His brother never got cancer either. But he did have emphysema and weighed well under 100 pounds – looked like a concentration camp survivor. He however, finally decided to quit one day. The day he woke up in a hospital bed and a priest was giving him the last rites...

Noel "Paul" Stookey lives quietly way Downeast in Blue Hill, Maine where he has a recording studio. He still makes personal appearances.
