RIP John Kounis

I heard today from RAF that John Kounis from Pilot Getaways Magazine passed away suddenly. Condolences to Woody (his dog), George (his brother) and the rest of his family and friends.

RIP... Great writer and magazine. 'Many an adventure started from the pages of 'Getaways.

It is hard to fathom this news, I saw him couple months ago speaking at the Salinas fly-in. Unbelievable, his brother will probably continue the magazine, I am a subscriber.
