When I sold my plane in 89, the buyer brought in a shipping container, removed the wings and tail and stuffed her inside it and then gave me some sad news..... Seems back then the military in the middle east were buying up as many low cost GA planes to use a drones to target practice since they were ALOT cheaper then test drones provided by the defense contractors...
I went on for years thinking my poor baby was launched, put on auto pilot and was shot down as target practice.....
Then , few years back I googles the N number and found her..... STILL flying in the U.K......

I've found a lot of good stuff on that Air Britain site. Once I was tracking down a C-150G I used to instruct in, back in the early 1970s at KLGB. Found it on Air Britain, now a mashed-up decoration in front of a restaurant in Belgium!Then , few years back I googles the N number and found her..... STILL flying in the U.K......
