Returned from Oshkosh to read about this blade-wielding helicopter

It is going to cost the insurance company as much or more than the what the project cost.

Wonder how the environmentalists feel about blowing a couple thousand gallons of fuel for a silly bike trail.

I just read the crash :(

That's got to be the ultimate in conflicting emotions.

Watching the hanging chainsaw I was wondering why they couldn't use one of the tree trimmers that the railroads use. I've seen the specialty rail cars at a distance and it seems like some kind of crane with pinchers or scissors on the end. There may be multiple kinds of cutting tops. I've seen the results after they come thru and it looks like Paul Bunyan had been by with a giant machete, an axe and a 2 gauge shotgun!

I've seen a gas company's truck for cleaning up gas line rights of way with a circular saw blade at the end of a crane arm.

In neither case is a person out in a bucket with a chainsaw. The unfortunate pilot's point about risk may just be marketing hype.

Then of course there's this: Let's do it in one step

Wow, you could dispose of some bodies with that thing.
