Replacement oil dipstick for C182 with O-470R?

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know where I can buy a replacement oil dipstick like this? (hopefully pic attached) Used is fine obviously. It's rather challenging to find this online anywhere. Thanks!

Go here http://continental.aero/support/illustrated-parts-catalog.aspx, put in your engine info, and find the rod assembly oil gauge, it'll be in the crankcase alternate views. I believe it'll be the 632062-29A1 That's carried by several vendors including Spruce, AirPower, etc.

Thanks! Yeah this looks like it. Holy crap $340 for a new one!?!?!

Maybe I'll somehow get lucky and find a nice used one.....

If anyone knows of any hidden gems to search for used/salvage parts, then please let me know.

AirPower is $305, but yeah, pricey. Used is likely going to be hard to come-by as they tend to stay with the engine.

Lots of salvage yards will sell you a used one much cheaper. Try Air Salvage.
