After extensive testing and review, the Management Council has decided to replace the previously available FlashChat system with RealChat. However, PoA needs YOUR help in raising the necessary funds to procure the $300 license needed to operate RealChat here on our beloved front porch.

We will be soon adding a donation system to allow members to make PayPal contributions to the fund. Any users who enjoy the ability to engage in real-time chat with their fellow PoAers are welcome to contribute as much or as little towards the purchase as they are comfortable making.

You can, but it won't be automatically tracked as part of the goal. The donation system uses paypal, so what's the issue?

I must be in the minority as Ramen has been one of my favorites since my finicky childhood. :yes:

I think some people aren't noticing the "Donation" link on the menu bar at the top of the page. :dunno:

Ahhhh... No, I didn't. I have the links in IE set to go directly to new posts. I would have never seen that unless I specifically went to the main page.
 
Oddly enough it doesn't display on the main page menu bar. There are some other unique actions associated with the main page menu bar that aren't seen elsewhere, too.

New and Improved I suppose.

I have been advised by our Technical Administrator that there is an additional scripting package which, while we don't absolutely need, prefer to have, that adds $100 to the price. The goal has been adjusted.

That's right...chase the carrot...chase the carrot... ;) :D
 
I've been going into withdrawl without my FlashChat... GIVE IT BACK!!!

I have no idea how often it updates as Chuck set it up. We'll see what he says.
 
I'm looking at the bar graph...looking to see if it went up 100 after my donation:) ok maybe not that much....
