The four nearest airports are Wings (LOM), Perkiomen Valley (N10) Heritage (PTW) and Brandywine (OQN).
Don't know much about OQN, not sure if they even have rentals.

Heritage and Perkiomen used to do rentals, not sure if they still do.
Wings may be your best bet. Easy to get to from KoP, good size operation and a nice airport.

Line Up and Wait
I am checked out to fly at heritage PTW. They have a basic 172 and more lenient rules with daily charges,etc. Their 172 is 100-110 wet and no fuel surcharges.
Wings rentals start around 150 with fuel surcharge and you get a newer plane. I have never rented there.

There are rentals at OQN. I was there a few weeks ago, and it seemed like a pretty nice airport. Busy but not too bad.

Filing Flight Plan
Another airport just down the road from King of Prussia is Chester County (MQS) http://www.chestercountyaviation.com/school_airplanes.cfm They have a Cessna 152, 162, several 172s, Piper Archer, Arrow, and Seminole. Runway 11/29 is a 5,400 X 100
