This is funny:

it just randomly showed up on the 'videos you should watch' page on youtube

LMAO! The background music is CLASSIC! Only true fans will understand its significance.

Did you notice that the headlights apparently only work in reverse.

I wonder how it decides whether the lights should light or not...

edit: Like I said...

double edit: Is that the music from the Red Green Show?

OK, not sure I understand the significance of the music, but I did note the headlights.

Can't say I've ever seen a snowplow blade on a car before. That's a first.

aw shucks - I kept waiting for something cool, like backing out onto the highway and a real plow zooms by and takes him away or something ...

You just know this started with "My ol' Mazda really goes good in the snow!"

That is sweet!

I wonder if he has a mower deck for it?

Hah that is classic. Although I was half expecting tony to have strapped a plow to his Alero....

"If the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy."

I suppose it helps to be in Iowa to find that entertaining.

I think the expansion of the universe was arrested for 3:27 during the making of that video.

You know, that actually works surprisingly well!

I've never heard the theme music, either.

Yep never heard of it.

It's a cross between a variety show, Myth Busters, and a sitcom, held in a lodge up in Canada. The main character is Red Green. He invents stuff to save money and use the junk around his house. His favorite tools are duct tape and his imaginative mind. Cleaver writing, great character development, and over done acting makes it a must see when it is on. Kinda like TV used to be here about 40 years ago, TV worth watching.

You know, I was waiting to see one of my extended family members in that car but the windows weren't clear enough... I couldn't tell...

And dangit now I miss the Red Green show! I had forgotten about it till now. The series finale was a sad day in history for me. It's not on TV here anymore (at least not on broadcast TV).

It also helps to be smokin' somethin' when you watch it!

I lived five years in Bangor, ME, and I assure you that "Red" Green is a very very appropo stereotype.

Talking about the headlights, I figure they have something to do with raising and lowering the plow. I'd be interested to see how they rigged that up. You just never know how something like that may come in handy.

I was thinking it was somehow tied to the raise/lower mechanism as well ... accidentally, of course. Like, it was an electric pump and overloaded the alternator every time they used it. But, it wasn't consistent, so who knows?
