That's a pretty amazing aircraft! Looks like I would have to lose a little weight to use one, though.

...that and you can ***** and moan about Liberals here.
Is there a green board? If so, where?
the same statistic for type clubs:
77 Van's Air force
34 cirrus owners & pilots
27 mooneyspace
13 beechtalk
cessna pilots association N/A - I couldn't log in
piper owner - ditto
Us certified folks never have our planes in pieces... much... er, um... ah... it's the government's fault!
That's the purple board and its Mos Isley (aka SPINZONE).You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy.

It's in the bathroom, and it's mold resistant.
At the risk of derailing the thread into SZ, you seem to be following the rear-guard action of MSM that fights every new revelation with the "if" narrative. So, here's a bit of factual info which MSM is trying to whitewash. As I understand it, using a tax exempt organization for political purposes endangers its tax exempt status. If it is proven that one side of the political spectrum was being preferentially targeted for enforcement, that certainly would be improper, but that doesn't translate into "It's not safe to express opinions" as a general statement, IMO.

First of all, there is no "if". The systematic targeting happened. The victims were selected for audit, and we are not talking about "tax exempt status" only.
MSM tries to pretend that it was about that, but actually networked individuals were targeted for audit -- in several cases by two IRS offices at the time. BTW the double-targeting happened in Hawaii, far away from Cincinnatti. This is plain intimidation and persecution of those who were critical of the party in power.
In other cases, IRS leaked tax information to leftist orgs, such as leaking the donor list of National Organization for Marriage so that donors can be targeted by leftist thugs, e.g. their tires slashed, trash bins burned, kids bullied in school. MSM pushes the "tax-exempt status" thing in order to cover up other IRS abuses. But the message that you speak against Democrats and you get IRS on your case is unmistakeable.
Were conservatives and/or Republicans audited more often than Democrats and/or liberals?
Not trying to SZ the thread either but the IRS head announced she's taking the 5th Amendment and not testifying to Congress tonight.
Anyway, as far as aviation boards go, all I really (don't) have time for is PoA.
Isn't the Green Board just the colorblind pilot's Red Board?
It seems like that would put her in danger of being dismissed by the President.
You don't have time for POA?
You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy.
FWIW, I am sorry this thread degenerated, and Tom stopped posting...
FWIW, I am sorry this thread degenerated, and Tom stopped posting. I appreciated getting Tom's comments. Although he's getting paid to do it, he showed (to me anyway) an honest attempt to address areas of concern. The fact that he was lurking and trying to get some grassroots feelings does show me something quite positive coming out of AOPA.
So, Tom, I hope you're still on here; I hope you keep coming back and posting; and I hope that AOPA does become more responsive to its members.
I believe that this board software can be configured to allow users to "Thank" posts. A list of users thanking the post is displayed below the post itself. Examples here: http://www.mu-43.com/f54/share-birds-4838/index300.htmlWhere's the Like button on this thing?

Nice issue of AOPA Pilot this month. I read it cover to cover and then left it at the local airport.
That's a fantastic idea!! I wish we had something like that - I can't believe we never have....
MODS!! Have you heard of this awesomeness yet?
They probably wouldn't implement it since certain members would get upset they didn't get enough "thanks" for their posts, and then they would have to disable it like they did reputation, stars, etc... because someone didn't get a virtual pat on the back from people they never met.
