I had also looked at Rec when I got started, I figured it was part of my due diligence.
Once I compared the cost vs utility it was an easy choice for me to go PP. Rec could have been slightly cheaper, but the limitations were too much for me. I wanted to go places and do things without needing permission in the form of endorsements.
