[rant]Salads named after Roman emperors, or lack thereof[/rant]

It's all kale these days. Now, you prepare that kale with some 3-in-1 oil . . .

My mother used to fry chopped up bacon, add just a few diced small red potato chunks and pour it - hot bacon grease and all- all over a bowl of kale.

Kale. Makes me think of the crazy crap she tries to make me eat for a few weeks after her yoga retreats. Fascinating that Pizza Hut was the biggest consumer of kale before people started thinking it was food. It's all over the Google so it's true.

Kale needs to be cooked. You can make a damn fine soup with turkey sausage and kale.

I had to drive through Walldorf today. They have an extra L so I suppose no relation. My mom used to make the salad growing up and I liked it.
