Quetenza?

I have Type 2 Diabetes (well controlled with a 5.1 A1C). I have some discomfort in my feet, but I don't know if it's diabetic nerve pain. I just saw an ad for Quetenza (capsaicin). Assuming my discomfort is diabetic nerve pain, would Qutenza be permitted by the FAA?

Ask your doctor if it's diabetic nerve pain; otherwise, I don't see that drug as a restriction.

What does Quentenza accomplish that eating a high Scoville count pepper (ghost pepper maybe?) won’t?
