All of my high school marching band directors/instructors were Blue Devils or Madison Scouts. The BAHS Pride has won nationals 3 times now and has won the St Louis or Atlanta regionals every year since around 1999. Shows that some great talent comes out of Madison and Concord!
I was in the Union City Los Companeros, we competed against the Blue Devils many times. I recall the Blue Devils had their own box van to haul equipment, we were a small group and everyone used the trunks of their cars for the equipment.
Anyhow, I can't believe nobody gave Tom a hard time for not fully and completely stating his mission up front.
