Nice! You'll love it. What was the discount?

At checkout? Or via rebate?

You might want to check and see if you are going to need a GAD29D for your specific installation. I don't believe it is part of this new kit Garmin is offering.

Just got back my birdie with two 275s and the G500 AP.
Its' a very sweet package.
Curious on the installation cost for this. I currently have a vacuum system which will be removed. I’m in the northeast also, PA, so I know the costs depends on location.

Time to lose the vacuum system & net out a 6 pound gain in useful load.

Congratulations
You will love them.
6# might be stretching it?
I have had mine since summer 2018 and 1300 hours flying them so far. They have been great. They have been maintained/updated by the local shop that installed them.
I don't think the G275 were out yet when mine were installed?
I have flown a cheerokee and now a arrow with 275s. I prefer the G5 over the 275, But I am sure I am biased.

My old vacuum system that I removed after the G5s were installed.

Have a ballpark for what the install cost is for the dual G5's? (I know not all installs and quotes are made alike) :)

I left the vacuum system in our 182Q, but 2 275’s and a GFC 500 without electric trim was about $28K install in September.

$5k would be a good guess. You have a couple of boxes (magnetometer, 29B, air temperature sensor) and it will interact with GPS and AP.

Sadly, I ended up cancelling because of a lack of installation options. My local guy is taking appointments in 2026. My A&P/I that would have checked my work & signed it off has retired.
On the plus side, list Friday was the first time my plane has flown in 7 years and I am happy staring at my 6 pack for now.
I'm going to sit down soon & get on the waiting list for a panel upgrade.
