Wherever it fits! Mine is being installed this week right where WannFly’s is...since I have an HSI, top right was free. Bottom left keeps both CDIs on the right side and is usually free real estate if you don’t have an autopilot panel there.

Your poll is missing one of the most common options for a Cessna, that's right of the 6 pack. Lot of owners are removing an ADF or VOR gage and putting a CRG-30P in the old hole the center line of sight.

Most popular is where the old gages were located.
