PPL Rotor adding on PPL ASEL: §61.39(a)(6)(iii) question

I have been contacted by a potential student who currently holds PPL Rotor and wants to add on PPL Fixed Wing.

I'd like to verify an item so I don't make a mistake that steers him on the wrong course.

Per §61.63(b), I know a fresh knowledge test is not required.

But when it comes time to recommend him for the ASEL checkride, do I provide a §61.39(a)(6)(iii) endorsement (if needed) for the upcoming ASEL ride? Or is this skipped because no knowledge test is required?

It shouldn’t be necessary since no test was required.

BTW, make sure all the requirements are met since this is a rotor to fixed wing add on.

How are you going to review the missed questions with him if he isn't taking a test?
