Potential business opportunity for a computer/internet savvy pilot

I suspect they were a dream in the middle and the end also.

For Mr AZ claiming to do his research, he seems to have missed a significant demographics problem with most of his ideas, and one of them is flat illegal, has already been tried, and already lost in Federal court.

AZ, I know you're a keen researcher, so I'm just adding a datapoint for you. On idea #4 (around 20% of your projected revenue), part of the reason that you're getting the responses that you are here is that the idea has been tested and failed in court (see http://blog.flytenow.com). This was for a service that did not charge a fee to connect people, I would imagine that charging a fee to make that connection would set off some additional "commercial use" alarms.

@CMongoose thanks for the concern, but I'm very well aware of all the letters from counsel and court decisions regarding previous FlightSharing services. I'll be using event based mechanisms rather than straight up pay for play models, which of course could draw the ire of the Feds. Think something similar along these lines... what do they both have in common? ;)

FYI... I have a bunch of non-contributors placed on ignore, so based on the number count of responses, I could imagine there are several here who are getting their jollies by proving to the crowd how smart they are when it comes to running an internet business.

That's it! Everyone else is the problem. You? Now you're an angel.
