Final Approach
Saw a thread like this on the red board, thought I'd start it here. Post any memorable photos from flights in instrument conditions, here are a few of mine from Saturday
You beat me to it!Someone had to do it.
I don't know if an Iceman with bad aim counts. Not in flight, but...
It's the best I could come up with.I don't know if an Iceman with bad aim counts.
You beat me to it!
Greg, I saw your post as a blank image.
What? I saw "quote" and then (blank image).
I don't mean I saw a photo of IMC silly. It was a broken link.
Kim - this is what it looks like inside a cloud.
Now imagine that there isnt a cockpit.
Dude how are you navigating?
I was gonna say, vectors or a procedure turn would be ok cause those needles are everywhere
Also, I stayed at a Holiday Inn last night. Seriously, what's up with all the laughing at me emoticons? I was just posting a website problem since Mari said "you beat me to it" and I wondered what was up.

Kim, I don't get it either. Really childish.
Yeah, the title of the thread was kinda misleading.. The joke is that I did not actually want people to post a bunch of pictures of the airplane in solid IMC, that would just be cockpits with a view of absolutely nothing out the window, a solid sheet of grey. Some jokester capitalized on this and posted a photo of 'nothing' :wink2:
I was looking for pics of airplanes between layers, breaking out on a scuzzy day, on top of a solid overcast or skimming the tops of clouds etc... things that you might experience when flying IFR on a day with a lot of active weather
