This year, I found myself flying w/ some of you

Just in 2015 I had the privilege to fly with:

  • Aggie Mike (PnP, Stephenville, Buzzed Walt's place, Camerons)
  • Andrew (Gastons / Little Rock)
  • EdFred (Runway inspection was epic at Gastons)
  • Javier (Gastons)
  • JCranford (Hideaway @ KOUN, KGLE today)
  • KenJr (Stephenville, Gastons, Georgetown)
  • Lance (Gastons)
  • Brian (The other Aggie for some formation photos)
  • TechProbtb (Gastons, Red barn & my first flight in a plane faster than 100kts)
  • Troy T-Dub, TangoWhiskey (Beacon Cafe)
  • Tyler (Hideaway in Norman)
  • Unit74 (Delta Charlies)
In 2016, I hope to double that list.
Also, I was fortunate to go to Gastons and meet a lot of you in person this year.

Several of the sand baggers which I won't out.

Just to note I've flown with a couple who would rather not be known here.

Ok, understood.

I only recently learned the term "sandbagger"
I thought maybe you were in a golf tournament with some of them and they padded their score card.

I get most of my information from Urban Dictionary.

Short loading a 182, that's all I gotta say.

Edit: my list was just those I flew with. I don't think you and I ever went up in the plane together.

Damn, I think you're right.

"...Cessna 2CF Heavy, over the dam for the downwind, Gastons...."

Only AggieMike for me on a PnP trip. Did briefly meet Throttle, too. Hoping to expand greatly on that this year.

Zero met and zero flown with that I know of though I'm sure there are some on POA that I might know from somewhere other than POA itself.

I wouldn't admit it if you met me either.

I would take a WAG that most of the Colorado crew have met at one time or another.

Met probably ?20-30? folks over the past 10 years or so.

Flown with:
Tony
Greg
Kent

Flown in close proximity to:
EdFred

I have not and will not fly with that lemonade swilling Ed.

I need to meet more Colorado crew...

When i was a ramprat I've probably fueled ejenson without knowing it was him...

Good thing this is an aviation board, or that might be misinterpreted.

Well, then, we need another CO-POA meetup! Nice weather this coming Sunday.
Denver: Mostly sunny, with a high near 50.

Pueblo: Mostly sunny, with a high near 60. West wind 5 to 10 mph.
Restaurant won't be open until right before Christmas (recent estimate)

LaJunta: Mostly sunny, with a high near 59. West southwest wind around 10 mph. (walk over to the restaurant by the golf course)

Leadville: Partly sunny, with a high near 31. West southwest wind 5 to 10 mph.

Goodland: Mostly sunny, with a high near 54.

Looks like I have Sunday off, which is unusual, since my counterpart is a football fan (I'm not) and I usually let him have Sundays.

Fuel relatively cheap...although it looks like FLY is under $4/gal now...still beats FTG who increased price recently...looking at 100LL.com it looks like FTG's price increase didn't stand...doubt if they noticed that I tankered in fuel from DUX but I'd have been happy to tell them about it...

Yeah, but the smart ones don't admit to meeting, much less being friends with, Clark.

He's a damned "empty pot container-wise man from the west bringing gifts" kind of guy.

Bastard!

Some jokes just aren't funny.

(But at least he saved the day for Andrew)
