It would appear that a lot of people are hitting the site infrequently.

And I wonder why the huge jump in '08?

Interesting. I wonder how they figure out the demographics.

I wonder how they get the stats. Is this based on the IE Alexea spy data? That's going to be no where near a full data sample.

Where would those numbers even come from?

Is the Quantcast "goo" being installed on the web pages here? A search for "quantcast" in a typical page doesn't show anything.

According to their demographics, 458 of us have an age, but only 201 of us have a gender...

The statistics are absolutely worthless. They have no decent way to measure any of our traffic. One again, what they are displaying on the site, is of no value and is mostly random crap they're trying to scale up to mean something (DOES NOT WORK) in an effort to sell to the unknowing.

Notice where it says:
"Data is based on Rough Estimate"
"We have sparse data for this site, so estimates are rough"

No Quantcast "goo" installed here.

For some real numbers.. We get 21,985 "absolutely unique visitors" per month and 54,238 visits.

We get *MORE* traffic from search engines then we do our members browsing our site. 47% of our traffic is from search engines, 13% links from other sites, and 39% directly using the URL or a bookmark. Be careful what you post.

Maybe the search 'bots are genderless.
Re: Be careful what you post. I found an entry I posted here on an "aviation news" site.
