Okay guys here is part two of my hypothetical POA plane sweepstakes. Which one do you choose for your own? Note, all have been totally restored and are in top condition or brand new.

G36 because of the seats and G1000
R66 because I can fly that, then sell it, and buy a G36
DA42 is non-descriptive. 1.7 Centurions? -VI? Huge difference.

I'll take the diamond please.Thanks

I would love the SR22 especially if Turbo; the G36 as a paltry useful load, cant fit in a mooney comfortably, The twin would give me twin time and many happy hours.

I hate helicopters since my army days.

So I would take 1 the twin diamond, 2nd the SR22, 3rd the reduced useful load G36 and I would sell the Robinson for the cash. I have no use for Mooney.

As long as someone is paying for the fuel, I will take a decked out Beech 18

DA42. Only twin, therefore the only one I'm interested in. :D

I think the base price of the R66 is greater than the base price of the other aircraft, so I picked it. Besides, it is the only aircraft I would be able to fly from my home.

Love the Mooney, really like the Cirrus but will take the Bo.

Since you didn't specify which Mooney M20, I will go with either a J, or better yet a K. Of the aircraft listed, this is the only one I could afford to regularly put gas in. Now if you meant a big bore Mooney, then it's a wash. I guess I'd take either the R-66 so I could get some helicopter training in it, then sell it, or just which ever is easiest to sell. I couldn't afford to feed and maintain any of them at that point.

"Damn aircraft manufacturers can't come up with nothin' new, same half-a-century old designs blah-blah-blah"

Cirrus SR-22 19.67%
Mooney M20 (1994) 18.03%
Beechcraft Bonanza (G36) 34.43%
Robinson R66 6.56%
Diamond DA42 21.31%

Bo (34.43%) + Mooney (18.03) = 52.46% percent here don't care about the new stuff
DA42 = 21.31% embrace the diesel future
SR-22 = 19.67% wow. Let's remember that next time a Cirri bashing thread comes up

and only 6.56% made a sound financial decision to win a turbine helicopter, sell it, and then buy something else :D

Well, I voted for the Bo because it's the only thing with 6 seats.

John

I've never flown a helicopter, so I picked the R66. :D

Bingo. I'll take that, sell it, and put a new panel in the Arrow! Paint it too maybe.
