Weather permitting, I've got room for you and Mari, if she's interested. I'll even pickup at kapa.

warning....I'm getting over a cold, and if still sniffling, won't go.

This Saturday 7-11 ish. That's the word from the airport.

I can't go as far as Leadville. After having most of this week off, I'm on call Saturday. But if you get snowed out I can meet anywhere in town.

Looks like the elt battery will be delivered tomorrow so I might have a quasi-legal plane.

edit: vendor was careful about the order and told me shipping might be 7-10 business days drop shipped from manufacturer's plant. I okayed it. Turns out they shipped same day.

Well the new elt battery is installed and the indicator light flashed 6 times just as the piece of paper said it would.

Did Nick find a ride? Will the wind blow tomorrow or will Nate break wind? What time will anybody be in Leadville?

I'm planning to be there 8 or just before. My boss will jump out of the airplane for breakfast since he doesn't trust my landings.

I just talked to Clark. Glad his airplane is fixed because I'm out.

We worked on IACRA and Oral Prep today and moved our last Seminole flight to tomorrow morning -- no, we're not going to bring it up to Leadville -- so I'll be flying, but won't be flying to LXV.

Couldn't make both work on the schedule, instructor is unavailable Sunday and the airplane is doing another checkride on Monday with mine on Tuesday.

I'm shooting to be there around 8. Look for the short 21 year old - this is aviation... I'm sure I'll be the only one ;)

No ride for Nick - but that's ok. I'll meet up with y'all in the Spring once the weather comes back again. I am assuming the FAA will be soundly defeated by then.

Well if Clark had flown and I didn't get stuck needing to go finish up in the twin, I'd have offered a ride. Sorry man.

Someone look and see if they're still selling coffee cups. ;)

Right now the freezing level at Wilkerson Pass is below the altitude I use to go either way between the flatlands and Leadville.

Rats.

Anyone make it? I just got done a little bit ago in the Seminole. Ended up doing 3.8 which was a butt kicker.

Saw Doug H (from our long dead podcast) flying CAP cadets over at FTG and also back at APA, and ran into @murphey who said what was said above...

I got to Leadville this morning. Ramp was filled and the breakfast was good. I would say a successful fly-in. Leave peeping was about average.
